As you know, yesterday our team signed a contract with 27-year-old experienced defender Miomir Jurichkovich from Montenegro.

Naturally, after all the formalities were resolved, the new legionnaire gave his initial interview to the press service of the Andijan club.

- Miomir, welcome to the Andijan club! When did this offer come and were you expecting it?

- Thank you for the warm welcome. A few days ago, I terminated my contract with Sarajevo and immediately accepted the offer from Andijan.

- What inspired you to accept this call?

- Several legionnaires play for Andijan. They gave me very good feedback about the club and recommended that I accept the offer from this team.

- What have you heard about Uzbek football before?

- As I said, many players from Montenegro and the Balkans have played here and are still playing in the Uzbek championship. They are all happy with the football here. Therefore, I hope that the same will happen.

- Bosnian Mirzad Mekhanovic also came to the team before you. Your last club was the Bosnian club “Sarajevo”. Do you know Mekhanovic well?!

- Of course, I know Mirzad very well. He is one of the best players in the Bosnian championship and can make amazing assists. I am sure that he will help our team a lot in the new season.

- Have you talked to the head coach?

- I met with the coach. Mirzad praised his training style. We have a training camp in Antalya for more than a month ahead. I hope that we will get to know each other better there and play together successfully.

- Is your move to Andijan a step forward in your career?

- After I terminated my contract, I received many offers in a short period of time. But I decided to choose Andijan. Because I believe that this will be a step forward in my career.

- What do you think about our passionate fans?

- When choosing clubs, I also pay attention to their fans. I prefer to choose the team with the best fans. I know that our fans are unparalleled in Uzbekistan. I can say that they are the main reason why I chose Andijan.
